If I were a Grandmother....

for those of us with Bucket-lists, spare shoes for driving, and a perpenceity  for nanna-naps

My name would be Toti.

I would have hair that would be a light shade of lilac.

As is proper  of woman of a certain age

also thick glasses on a little string.

I would have a huge and voluminous handbag -

in which I would keep.

My crochet,

A small dog

Wethers sweets.

And the keys to my custard colouered M.G.

or perhaps a small scooter?

I would be very tall,

and wear impractical shoes

(but have a spare pair for driving)

but most importantly I would eat pudding first.

Because nobody could tell me otherwise.
